Bulk Item Pick-Up

The Town of Stoneville has contracted with Waste Management for bulk pickup of resident’s discarded items. These items must be acceptable at the Rockingham County Landfill – call 336-427-4789 to find out if your items are acceptable. Town residents should come to Town Hall at 101 Smith Street, pay the Bulk Pick-Up Fee for the service, and then we will contact Waste Management to have your items removed. The service is available Monday – Friday. The Town only picks up bulk items in the Spring when the County Landfill allows the service. Persons who are in violation of the Town’s Ordinance on bulk items are subject to fines.

  • Used Appliances/Refrigerators & Freezers must have doors removed
  • Old Furniture
  • Mattresses/Boxsprings
  • Carpet Remnants

Bulk Items Not Accepted

  • No Electronics of Any Kind
  • Batteries
  • Paints
  • Oils
  • Tires
  • Yard or Construction Debris
  • Chemicals of Any Kind
  • Rock
  • Sand
  • Gravel
  • Dirt
  • Logs
  • Hazardous or Medical Waste
